Pick a random winner from a list
Paste names or entries one per line. Blank lines are ignored and surrounding whitespace is trimmed. Choose the number of winners, decide whether duplicate lines add extra chances, and optionally select one alternate.
How duplicate entries work
Keeping duplicate lines gives that entry more chances to be selected. A name can still appear only once in the winners or alternates from a single draw. Choose “Remove duplicates” when every distinct entry should have one chance.
Good for giveaways, classrooms, and teams
Use the picker to choose an eligible giveaway entry, select a student for a classroom turn, rotate a team duty, or assign a volunteer. The seven sample names are shared with the wheel and multiple-winner tools; clear or replace them before your draw.
Privacy and result limits
The draw happens in your browser and the entries are not sent to a server. Results are not independently audited or cryptographically verifiable.
